"Feeling a bit less confident in Airfix lately"
I’ve always had a good opinion of airfix, but my last couple of orders have made me hesitate a bit. One of the kits turned up with some missing parts, and getting a response took longer than I expected (which was a little frustrating). It did get sorted in the end, so I’ll give them credit for that, but the whole thing felt like more hassle than it should’ve been. I still like the brand, just not feeling quite as confident ordering from them right now.

"Clear updates without the usual corporate fluff"
I’m usually a bit skeptical when companies say they’ll “keep you informed,” because half the time it’s just polished wording and you still end up chasing them. But this time they actually did keep me updated the whole way through. I didn’t have to follow up or wonder what was going on with my order, which was a nice change. Really happy with it.

I ordered a couple of Airfix kits to Canada and, i was kind of bracing myself for the usual international shipping drama, delays, beat-up box, weird tracking updates, all that. But it ended up being totally fine. It showed up faster than I expected, the box was in good shape, and the tracking actually worked the whole way, which is always a nice surprise. No extra hassle or anything annoying, so yeah, happy with how it went.

"Payment was quick and easy"
I paid with my card and it went through on the first try, which was a relief. I also got the order confirmation email quickly, so I didn’t have to worry about whether everything had gone through.

I had a hard time following the steps. They were kinda unclear in a few places, so it took me longer than expected to figure things out.

"Maybe I expected too much from the plastic"
Some of the plastic felt decent, but a few parts were softer and bendier than I thought they’d be. Maybe I’m being a bit picky, I'm not sure, because it’s not terrible or anything. I just expected it to feel a little sturdier overall

"Nice historical touches in the kit"
I’ve always had a soft spot for airfix kits because of the historical details they include. The markings and little notes seem like they’ve been properly researched, and my Spitfire lined up really well with the reference photos I had. It’s not absolutely perfect every single time, but it’s close enough that I still really enjoy the build. In the end, it just feels satisfying to put together something that has that bit of history behind it

I had a really good time building this Airfix kit, honestly. The parts went together nicely and, yeah, it kept me busy for a few evenings. It was just properly relaxing to sit down with it for a bit... I'd definitely buy another one.

"I’ve had a good time with these..."
I’ve had a good time with these kits overall. The ones I liked are the ones that stick in my head, honestly. That said, I do remember a couple labeled as beginner feeling a bit more fiddly than I expected, so the skill levels seemed a little mixed to me

"Decent kit, though I was a bit skeptical"
I ordered this from airfix.com and, i was half-expecting something to be off, but the kit turned out decent. Most of the parts fitted together nicely, although a couple did need some sanding and a bit of patience to get right. It’s not perfect, and I did find myself wondering if a few pieces could’ve been molded a little better, but overall it was still an enjoyable build. I’d give it 4 stars.

"Really impressed by the level of detail"
I bought a couple of kits from airfix.com and, i was really impressed. The tiny parts were nice and sharp, the panel lines looked clean, and the whole thing felt properly thought out. Delivery was fine as well, no issues there. A few bits weren’t the easiest to put together, but that’s kind of part of the fun for me. If these kits are anything to go by, Airfix really knows how to make a quality model. Very happy overall.

I reached out to support and it took a few days for them to reply. It wasn't the end of the world, since I wasn't in a huge rush and I was mostly checking my email in between work and making dinner anyway, but it did feel a little slower than I expected.

"Pretty happy with it overall"
For the price, I feel like these kits are a good deal. They’re decent quality and didn’t leave me feeling like I wasted my money, which is always a relief. The only thing that kind of took away from the excitement was the delivery time, I wish it had been a bit quicker. Still, overall I’m happy with what I got.

"Shipping didn’t feel like a trap"
I expected the postage to jump up at checkout like they were waiting until the last second to sneak it in, but it stayed reasonable. Nice to not get hit with some random surprise fee for once.

I was just browsing airfix.com and ended up grabbing a couple of kits because the prices were better than most other places I’d checked. Bit of an impulse buy, but no regrets. Delivery was fine too, and I’m happy with the whole thing. I’d definitely order from them again.

"Quick delivery, no fuss"
My Airfix order turned up quicker than I expected. The dispatch email came through soon after ordering, and a couple of days later the parcel was already at my door.
Everything about it felt straightforward and reassuring, which I appreciated. Tracking was easy to follow, the box arrived in good condition, and the whole experience had a nice no-nonsense feel to it. I’d happily order again.
